I have to admit to receiving a little bit of help on this from a number of Korean movie aficionados.
Five Good but Apparently Not Great Korean Movies
Coming in at a respectable numbers 10 through 6 are:
- Bin Jip (Empty House)-a homeless man breaks into other people’s houses for no other reason than to find temporary shelter. While there he repays them by doing simple repairs. All of this changes when he enters the home of a woman in an abusive relationship.
- Sassy Girl-an unpredictable comedy with great acting and lots of laughs.
- Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance-contains some rather weird, twisted scenes which some may find disturbing; thing is, the director warns you about it right up front.
- The Way Home-heartwarming and at times gut wrenching story about a grandmother’s love for her grandson.
- Welcome to Dongmakgol-you will laugh and you will cry during this story of soldiers and their experiences in the village of Dongmakgol. The cinematography in this film is awe inspiring.
Now For the Best Of the Best
The finest of the fine, numbers 5 through 1 are:
- Joint Security Area-a deep tragedy about the struggles between north and south.
- Old boy-another disturbing but brilliant psychological thriller.
- Shiri-this just happens to be the oldest film in this article. This block buster again explores the trials and tribulations between north and south and entangles it with a love story.
- Friend-this movie follows four friends from childhood to adulthood, demonstrating that no matter what choices you make in life; friendship, devotion and loyalty play a significant role.
- Taekukgi: The Brotherhood of War-two brothers are forced into service during the Korean War. The story of the war itself is rather devastating but the plight of the two brothers, their family and a nation makes this a must see.
So there you have it. With any luck at all you’ll be able to read the subtitles quickly enough to follow the movies.

If a company is planning a golf tournament, a picnic, a charity event and they’re trying to find that perfect gift that not only benefit’s the recipient, but them as well, and is inexpensive, there isn’t a much better item than the promotional umbrella.
Standard Umbrellas
Perhaps the most common umbrella, at least in the promotional world, is the golf umbrella; rare is the golf bag that doesn’t have one attached to it. Now with promotional umbrella, the purchaser is buying in bulk. Most promotional umbrella companies have break downs of 50, 100,250,500, 1000.and other. Obviously the more purchased, the more saved. Typically, a decent golf umbrella, runs about thirty bucks. That’s for fifty, if you bump it up to a thousand they’ll knock off roughly thirty percent. This includes your company’s logo on one panel.
The stick umbrella, a non-folding umbrella with a straight handle is your classic umbrella. It’s almost much cheaper than a golf umbrella. Expect to pay around eight to ten bucks for a hundred.
The mini umbrella is a small umbrella that fits into a bag or brief case. Sometimes they come with their own fancy container. For fifty expect to pay around twenty bucks. However with the mini, which is a very popular umbrella, don’t expect much of a price break even if you order up to a thousand.
The beach umbrella is also a very popular umbrella and if you spend a lot of time near the water, you really can’t do without one. They are large, with a 72” arc, and can shade a couple of people comfortably. And they’re about the same price as a promotional golf umbrella.
There are also patio umbrellas(the most expensive) kid’s, vented, bubble and folding. Search around the many web-sites for the best deals.

What’s the vest investment that you can make in your home? Replacing your roof? Replacing doors? Enhancing your homes curb appeal? How about Double Glazing?
Double Glazing is a process in which a window is created with two panes of glass instead of one pane. A gap is kept between both panes of glass and air that is trapped in that gap acts as a natural barrier against air coming into your house from the outside.
When you replace your windows with Double Glazed windows you can expect to see an instant savings of 10-12% off your energy costs from the very first month because with older single pane windows your home is loosing about 60% of it’s heat during the winter and possibly even more energy is wasted during the summer as you struggle to keep your home cool during those hot summer months.
Protect Your Home with Double Glazing
Most people think of the best ways to protect their home the first thing that comes to mind is getting an alarm system but getting Double Glazed windows is an even better investment because Double Glazed windows are harder to break and have their own locking system compared to traditional single pane windows.
Double Glazed windows will enhance the value of your property and there are a wide variety of window styles for you to choose from including aluminum, wood, plastic and more plus there are many colors that you can choose from for your new windows as well or you can get windows that match the current look of the windows that your home has.
Double Glazing Can Help You To Save The Environment
Did you know that the average home release 28% of all carbon dioxide emissions into the environment? When you replace your old single paned windows with
Double Glazed windows you’re doing your part to cut down on those emissions and save the environment.

If you thought that playing poker with a card shark was difficult, try playing poker with a software developer. This guy purportedly knows all the ins and outs of the software program from which online poker runs.
Never Happen In a Million Years
This developer sang the praises of
online poker to the extent that he is of the opinion that it’s as real as it can possibly be… Online. He has seen people dealt four of a kind twice in a span of three hands. His opinion is that the odds of such are exorbitant. Due to the lack of actual shuffling done by the computer the identity of the cards is determined by a random number generator. Kind of like drinking light beer instead of beer; tastes great, less buzz. He also noticed that as he begins to win pots he his dealt better flops and pocket cards. This guy likes to wait for the greenhorns to knock each other out of the game until there are only three or four players left; then he pounces into action. And if he sees someone else win, he knows that their next pocket cards will be good; therefore, he will only call with better than average pocket cards.
So How’s That Workin’ Out For Ya?
Our little software program developer claims that his strategy nets him a winning record of 80%. By winning he means coming in at 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. He looks at it as winning because even third place receives chips on online poker sites. He’s not very fond of the free
online poker due to the fact that, because people have nothing to lose, there’s no real strategy; they won’t even think twice about going all in. If they bottom out, so what?
Finally, he suggests that for some real money, you still need to hit the casinos.

Knowing how to find the right lingerie for you is important. Not only does it need to look good, but you want to get your money’s worth, and comfort and effectiveness are necessary as well.
Bra Sizing
The most basic part of buying lingerie is making sure you are getting the correct size. Although it has been in discussion in the plus-size industry for years, there is yet to be a form of universal sizing. It is important to recognize that sizes differ between different brands, so trying on bras and investigating different brands is advisable. Most women, believe it or not, are wearing the wrong bra size for them. So asking a lingerie salesperson to size your bust is a good move, for the sake of finding a good bra and for piece of mind. When you do find that perfect bra that fits just right, it wouldn’t be hasty to buy several of it, because why would you ever want to wear anything else once you have found one that can be deemed “perfect”?
Bra Material
Though we tend to gravitate towards the prettier things, the material of your bra is just as important as how it looks. To get the support that you need, make sure the elastic content is high enough. Also, the elastic should all be covered with fabric, otherwise you may get pinched by your own bra! Also important is that the straps are wide and fully adjustable. Narrow straps will probably not support your bust quite as well, and they will lead to pain. Padding on the straps is desirable as well.
Style does not have to be sacrificed for comfort.
Plus size lingerie is available in a variety of styles, so you can find bras that look and feel good.

Cheap Car Insurance is no longer a myth thanks to the wide variety of car insurance companies that you have to choose from on the Internet. To find these companies just use your favorite search engine, type in “cheap car insurance” and then search through the results that come up.
The Car Insurance Game
Remember that all car insurance companies were not created equal and don’t always have your best interests at heart so it’s best to clarify the coverage that you want to have before you start searching. For example: Do you want full coverage or liability? Do you want to have towing and the other features that many car insurance companies offer? If you think of these things before hand you will be able to find the car insurance plan that you’re looking for.
If you think of searching for better car insurance rates like a game the process of finding an affordable policy won’t seem like the dull work that many people try to avoid.
How Else Can You Lower Your Car Insurance Costs?
One of the most common things that people forget to do when they have changes in their lives is updating their policy with their car insurance provider. This is very important if you’re recently married or your wife had another child. You can save money every month just by making simple changes to your car insurance policy. You can also lower your
car insurance costs by asking your current insurer if they have other insurance products like life insurance that you can sign up for and bundle with your car insurance policy. Last of all and probably the most easiest thing to do is practice safe driving because the longer you go without an accident, speeding ticket or DUI you can save money off your car insurance policy every month.

Are you thinking about getting a new car but aren’t sure if the monthly payment for that new car will fit within your budget? You’re not alone. Many people are stepping back from buying new cars in favor of buying used cars. There are many excellent used cars available today compared to just a few years ago especially those used cars that are less than a year old where some depreciation on the new car price has occurred. This is good news for you the car buyer because it means that you can secure yourself a next to new car for a lot less than the new car price.
Before You Sign A Used Car Loan
One of the great things about buying a used car is that you might not be required to pay for full coverage auto insurance. You should confirm with your auto insurance company what your monthly payment will be before you sign your used car loan documents. If you’re only required to get comprehensive coverage for your car then you can use the money that you’re saving every month and apply it to your car loan payment.
Know The Basics Of A Car Loan
Before you sign that
car loan it’s important to know the basics of car loans like what a down payment is, how to understand the interest rate and what the term of the loan is.
When buying a new or used car it’s always best to put down as much money on the car as possible before you sign for a car loan because that means you will have to pay back less and get charged a lower interest rate.
The interest rate of your loan is the percentage that you’re charged for the money that you borrow and the term of your loan is the number of months that you’re given to pay the loan back to the lender.
With a used car you shouldn’t drag out repayment for the length of the loan. It’s important to pay the loan off as soon as possible because the longer you drag it out the more money you’re to pay in interest and will be losing money on the car.

At first glance, one would think that finding the right VPS Hosting would be much the same as choosing a telecommunications service provider - they offer the same service for different prices. When you're dealing with something as important as the management of your company's website, though, you're going to want to dig a little deeper.
What Makes for a Good Review?
Invariably, this leads the consumer into another tangled web entirely. For every VPS Hosting service provider out there, it seems, there are two reviewers telling you how great they all must be. Therefore, before you can pick and choose among service providers, you must first filter through all of the reviews. Much of the content of these reviews is (to the layman) so much techno-babble. The customer, prior to even finding a service provider, has to figure out what comprises a decent review.
Lean On Experience
The first thing to look for is whether or not the reviewer has ever been a VPS Hosting service provider. Insider knowledge is of the utmost importance when sifting through the ever-changing sea of data- and capacity-related jargon bandied about like so many ping-pong balls in
VPS Hosting reviews. Yes, price and the amount of resources a provider has on hand are important factors, but so are issues like support, management, uptime, backup systems and control panel software. It truly takes an expert to know the difference.
Whether or not a review actually leads you to hire one particular company or the other, it cannot be a very effective review if it doesn't help you save time as you separate the wheat from the chaff. A balanced perspective can only be attained if the options are explored one case at a time. Good reviews are based on information, not on advertising.

Oil and gas jobs are plentiful right now, offering many opportunities for individuals just out of high school or those with college degrees. You can earn anywhere from $50,000 up to $200,000 or more depending on the type of job you choose to pursue in the oil and gas industry. However, there are a few prerequisites you should have prior to applying for a job in this field. These include:
• An excellent work ethic
• Ability to travel
• Professionally created resume
• Be drug/alcohol free
• Be in good health
• Have access to a computer
A majority of people want to work at one of the offshore oil rigs, but did you know that these oil rigs also need welders, technicians and even cooks to maintain them? In addition, oil rigs require someone to maintain computerized equipment and electronic sensors which keep track of the rig’s development by conveying information through a satellite to corporations located worldwide.
Different Qualities for Different Jobs
Someone who is interested in geology could
find employment as a mud logger, which is someone who examines rock pieces and cuttings which emerge from the drill bit in order to ascertain whether there is oil below the surface. Those who are not academically inclined and prefer working with their hands might begin their career as a roustabout, or someone who performs odd jobs while working on the oil rig. The gas and oil industry is also one of the remaining employment opportunities which one can work their way up from ground level. Many managers or executives began their career on an oil rig crew and are not making $100,000 or more a year.
No matter what sort of educational or training background an individual has, they are almost certain to find a job just right for them in the gas and oil industry.
