Recently, there have been an increasing number of cases regarding people's identity stolen being through voter fraud. There are a few important tips and dangerous situations that voters should be aware to avoid. Keeping track of a free credit report is the best way to stay informed about identity theft.

Avoiding Potential Threats

There are a few potentially dangerous situations where criminals look to victimize people by stealing their identity by committing fraud through voting registration fronts. Voters should be wary of any email or calls requesting information or expressing problems with their voter registration. Be sure to always contact the state agency to confirm if there are any issues.

Better Safe than Sorry

Voters should be weary of swindle artists that present themselves to be working to register voters. Be sure to never your personal or financial information to anyone and always be sure to verify credentials of people requesting your information. Many criminals rely on the assumption that they will not be questioned nor have their lies challenged.

The potential threats for voter identity theft are very real and dangerous. Voters need to be aware of the potential threats when they occur and aware of the steps necessary to avoid having their identity stolen as well.

The Occupy Movement is a social protest led by the ninety-nine percent. Globally, one percent of the world's elite owns and controls everything. Protesters of this movement decry the severe social, political and economic inequities. The worldwide economic downturn has highlighted the plight of the ninety-nine percent. As a popular slogan of the movement illustrates, “Banks got bailed out, we got sold out” highlights, the most recent struggle of the ninety-nine percent has been the exponential increase in home foreclosures. What began at the heart of New York's financial district has spread across continents. The Occupy Movement has been embraced across cultures, languages and religions because everyone can understand injustice; the ninety-nine percent are fed up.

In this digital age, technology has made us more interconnected than ever. It is befitting then that the Occupy Movement began as a blog post on Tumblr. “Mother Jones” (www.motherjones.com/politics/2011/10/we-are-the-99-percent-creators) recently met with some of the creators of the movement. One of the leaders, Chris, a twenty-eight year old activist from New York, wanted to know how the economic crisis had affected real people. His idea was to then, “"Get a bunch of people to submit their pictures with a hand-written sign explaining how these harsh financial times have been affecting them, have them identify themselves as the '99 percent', and then write 'occupywallst.org' at the end."

The stories that Chris captured became the face and spirit of the Occupy Movement because, as Chris points out, “it's an empowering message, letting people know that they are not alone." The blog told the stories of a couple, one is a college professor and the other is a business owner that is forced to accept Medicaid and WIC for their baby girl. The couple has insurance; yet, the company refuses to “pay for the $600/month formula to keep her alive.” The blog shared how students could not afford to go to the dentist, parents being forced to move back home with their grown children, and families dumpster diving to get a meal.

The spirit of solidarity that the blog encapsulated eventually evolved into a physical movement. Many describe it as an organic and living progression. In September 2011, the first occupation occurred in Zuccotti Park, which the 2000 protesters would eventually dub Liberty Square. According to Occupy Wall Street, on one day in October 2011, there were “1500 protests in 82 countries.”

Media coverage, police brutality, arrests and lawsuits across cities and countries have forced the Occupy Movement to morph once again. A new frontier of the protest is to occupy foreclosed homes. Those who are the ninety nine percent and are ridden with debt and rely on cash advances and payday loans uk in order to keep food on the table will continue to protest. The Occupy Movement will remain in motion as long as members of the ninety-nine percent want it to. It is an organic movement made by the people, and for the people.

This time, the shutdown was avoided via the application of a last minute agreement. It was literally announced an hour before midnight as the country breathed a collective sigh of relief. Still, you might be wondering what the big deal is all about. Perhaps you are curious as to whether a federal shutdown would have any measurable effect on your own business. If a shutdown did go into effect, what could you expect to happen to your business for the duration?

What Stays and What Goes

The last government shutdown had a profound effect on all sectors of the economy—not just those that you might realistically expect. While what are termed essential services by the Office of Management and Budget remain functional and employed the rest are furloughed until the shutdown is resolved. In the past, these essential services have included:

Military Personnel

Border Agents

Federal Hospital Employees

Air Traffic Controllers

Your postal service will not be directly affect since it is self funded. Any other civilian employee of the federal government will be, however. That means that passports and visas cannot be issued or approved. If you work in the tourism industry, you’ll lose millions of dollars and even if you don’t, you’ll find that your international business is directly affected. That’s not all, however. The Small Business Administration would suspend its activities. Healthcare services like the NIH, the CDC, and even Medicare could be affected as could many other services.

Avoiding the Issue

The threat posed by a government shutdown is very real, whether you’re a member of the business sector or an actual federal employee. Everyone stands to lose money as well as the services that support our country. We were able to dodge the bullet this time, let’s hope we can continue to do so in the future.

Need office supplies, such as xerox phaser 850 ink sticks? There are many cheap and reliable sellers online.

Nicotine addiction, despite a significant decrease in the number of Americans who smoke cigarettes, remains a thorn in the side of health care professionals. There is no shortage of concern over the matter, but if everyone in the country were to crush out their last butts tonight, the result would be a huge hole in our economy tomorrow.

All Manner of Help

Consider the amount of money that is pumped into the various anti-smoking campaigns each year. Then calculate how much money is spent on nicotine-replacement therapies such as gum, patches and electronic cigarettes. Don't forget to add up the money earned by pharmaceutical companies and the "medicines" they produce to help people kick the habit. All told, cessation of smoking has built itself into a rather hefty cottage industry.

No Silver Bullet

There are problems with all of these different approaches. Patches, gum and e-cigs all continue to feed nicotine to the addict, albeit at reduced rates. The efficacy of cessation programs that "walk you down" are dependent on the smoker's self-discipline, however reliable that may be in the face of a substance whose addictive nature is on par with that of heroin. As for prescriptions, the side effects disclosed by the makers of drugs like Chantix can be just as frightening as the prospects of smoking-related diseases.

Hardly anybody does it, but quitting "cold turkey" is still the healthiest alternative to any of the aforementioned methods. Within 24 hours of quitting, a smoker's bloodstream experiences a dramatic plunge in levels of carbon monoxide in the bloodstream. Every day after the first one leads to a healthier human body. And it leaves the quitter with something else that the other programs cannot match - a healthy bank account.

Democracy is a political government conceded out either directly by the people or by means of elected representatives of the people. The term is derived from the Greek word (demokratia)-rule of the people. There are two principles that any description of democracy includes; freedom and equality. Both principles are reflected in all citizens being equivalent before the law, and having the same access to power, and the freedom of its citizens is protected by legitimized rights, and liberties which are by and large sheltered by a constitution.

Democracy is merely a name, and the rulers utilize all power through police, courts and through jails. We get only those rights which these rulers give us and nothing more. This so called democracy, fundamental rights, masters and public servants are just in books, and are never brought in reality. We have to admit that democracy which at hand in all countries could be called as a government of a few, by a few and for a few. The common people should try to live like slaves as they had been under the imperialists.
We must accept the fact that democracy has not been properly defined. It is not government of the people, as set of people has taken up politics as their professions, and they are called as the rulers. When a government is created after election, government is not by the people, because these ruling people are not from amongst the people.

We are merely, simply voters who are called once in six years, and we are directed to cast votes in favor of the candidates who have been permitted to stand as candidates. Once we cast vote, our work is finished, and we are pushed back to suffer for another term of six years. The people who form government never work for the benefit of the people of the country nor are they dedicated. That is why most of the democracies in the world, the people who are in the positions are not working as public servants, and they never let the people to turn as masters of the country.

Why does most country have there own rules? Is it important to have a government in a country?

Democracy, do we really understand what’s democracy is? According to the dictionary, a democracy is for the people. It is where you have the word for your community on how it will run.

Democracy is just a form of government. It is an exercised of a country through a majority rule. Though in political theory, it describes only a small number of related forms of government and also a political philosophy.

We know that the government plays a key role in the community, which delivers a whole of range of services that will impact the people’s daily lives.

But democracy gives every people a rights t express their feelings and their idea for their country. It could be called also a freedom to all.

Democracy really gives an important rule to one of us. Were we can express everything we want, we can do everything we want for our life. Not compared before when there are still no government run in the country. Everything comes in miserable. Being slave by those people who are more powerful than an ordinary people is really difficult. Where we could not feel the freedom we all want to do.

It’s not really easy to become a slave with other people, which is why, after how many years gone by, the government started to build a rule for those who have been discriminated. And that’s what the democracy rule brings to all of us.
