The Occupy Movement is a social protest led by the ninety-nine percent. Globally, one percent of the world's elite owns and controls everything. Protesters of this movement decry the severe social, political and economic inequities. The worldwide economic downturn has highlighted the plight of the ninety-nine percent. As a popular slogan of the movement illustrates, “Banks got bailed out, we got sold out” highlights, the most recent struggle of the ninety-nine percent has been the exponential increase in home foreclosures. What began at the heart of New York's financial district has spread across continents. The Occupy Movement has been embraced across cultures, languages and religions because everyone can understand injustice; the ninety-nine percent are fed up.

In this digital age, technology has made us more interconnected than ever. It is befitting then that the Occupy Movement began as a blog post on Tumblr. “Mother Jones” (www.motherjones.com/politics/2011/10/we-are-the-99-percent-creators) recently met with some of the creators of the movement. One of the leaders, Chris, a twenty-eight year old activist from New York, wanted to know how the economic crisis had affected real people. His idea was to then, “"Get a bunch of people to submit their pictures with a hand-written sign explaining how these harsh financial times have been affecting them, have them identify themselves as the '99 percent', and then write 'occupywallst.org' at the end."

The stories that Chris captured became the face and spirit of the Occupy Movement because, as Chris points out, “it's an empowering message, letting people know that they are not alone." The blog told the stories of a couple, one is a college professor and the other is a business owner that is forced to accept Medicaid and WIC for their baby girl. The couple has insurance; yet, the company refuses to “pay for the $600/month formula to keep her alive.” The blog shared how students could not afford to go to the dentist, parents being forced to move back home with their grown children, and families dumpster diving to get a meal.

The spirit of solidarity that the blog encapsulated eventually evolved into a physical movement. Many describe it as an organic and living progression. In September 2011, the first occupation occurred in Zuccotti Park, which the 2000 protesters would eventually dub Liberty Square. According to Occupy Wall Street, on one day in October 2011, there were “1500 protests in 82 countries.”

Media coverage, police brutality, arrests and lawsuits across cities and countries have forced the Occupy Movement to morph once again. A new frontier of the protest is to occupy foreclosed homes. Those who are the ninety nine percent and are ridden with debt and rely on cash advances and payday loans uk in order to keep food on the table will continue to protest. The Occupy Movement will remain in motion as long as members of the ninety-nine percent want it to. It is an organic movement made by the people, and for the people.

Socialism is already part in every county in which people have their chance to express their feelings and what they have tend to believe for the country. Let us see her below what are the different types of socialism.

Anarchism – this is the almost leaning outside of socialism. They believe that government was coercive and negative to both the economy and social state of the world. They also believe that the order was not somethi8ng to be imposed on people by the use of the government instead the people are joining a self government group in voluntarily.

Marxian socialism – this type of socialism are also called scientific socialism. This is an academic form of socialism. This is a strong distaste of capitalism that was based entirely on Karl Marx’s labor theory of value.

Revisionism – this type of socialism would create a society where the state built education, regulation of monopolies. They also sometimes believe that in the socialization of gas, water and other utilities was leading to the name or gas and water socialism.

State socialism – a type of socialism who’s idea is so broad. They believe that the government owns and operates broad sectors of the economy.

Syndicalism – they believe that regardless of its form, the socialism could not exist within the realms of modern government. They also believe that the only achievement would be replacing self interest chasing money with some self interest and chasing power. This idea is only to perform general workers union and so that it can perform a large scale general strike. With the use of this kind of socialism, it can overthrow capitalism as a power as well as the government. They would even abolished private property as well.

Utopian socialism – this is the first socialism movements. They have work from the famous socialists. They also often considered as the origin of socialist thought.

Communism – this is the stage of society that eventually overtakes socialism. This group’s very existence was relies on the total abolition of self interest and abundance of goods.

Socialism is the central meaning of common relationship. This was mean that the resources of the world being owned in common by the entire global population. This is also refers to any one of various theories of economic organization.

Socialism means that everybody has the right to participate in decisions on how global resources will be used. But it does not mean government or state ownership. It does not also mean a closed party-run system without democratic rights. Those are just an opposite in socialism. We know that socialism is a tricky thing to define since many types of it already exist. If we practice this, it means that nobody will be able to take personal control of resources that beyond their own personal possessions.

With socialism, anyone could have their free access to the goods and services designed to directly meet their needs. And all there work would be in voluntary basis. It is where it concerned in both the social and economic system in a country. Where the property and wealth is being shared with other people and their contribution are subjected to the control of the people. It is also where it will be a society in which the things we need to live, work and control our own lives. This all tings are collectively owned by all people, that which the democratic organization of the people is the government.

Socialism is freedom, it is for people who want to feel free the way they live their life in this world. And anyone deserves to have it, whether your rich or poor socialism if for all.
