The government doesn’t have a say in enough already? Now they need to have a say in our divorces as well? They already tell us whom we can and can’t marry. What would a divorce lawyer, Salem Massachusetts situated, think of the government horning in on their business?

One Politician Weighs In

Republican, (Lake Elmo) Representative Kathy Lohmer seems to be a little out of line on the subject of whether or not the government needs to keep their nose out of our business when it comes to divorce. There should be no public consequences and it should remain a private matter. What’s the world coming to when the government starts deciding whether we can or cannot divorce? Many already believe that the government is going too far and having too much to say about not just whom we can marry and whom we can’t but things having to do with more than our personal relationships; some members of government want to make it illegal for a woman to do with her body as she see fits; the government says that no matter how painful it is to live through a disease that is debilitating and killing you slowly with no hope of recovery, it is still illegal to end the suffering. What’s next?

What Is The Government Trying To Tell Us Now?

No hurry in finding a divorce attorney Salem Massachusetts located because the government thinks they’re going to get a law passed that says you have to wait two years in order to actually get that divorce. Thus far however, this is only set to apply when there is a child still being cared for in the home. A home in the throes of a divorce is an ugly place to be. Why should a child be forced to live under those circumstances for two more years? Not to mention the fact that forcing two vulnerable adults live together in the same home with hostile feelings between them is an invitation for that child to not only grow up the child of divorced family but for that child to grow up an orphan—one parent dead and the other in prison for life.

If you think that’s an exaggeration try looking up how many women and men are killed by a person that they have a restraining order against every year.

Password Protection

Begin by password protecting everything you work on. It is easy to expose sensitive information by simply browsing someone’s computer. Therefore, make it difficult for someone to browse your computer. Password protect your email. Also, consider adding passwords to files that contain sensitive information. This is particularly helpful if your files are shared on a network. It will prevent others from browsing files that need to be kept quiet. And it is a good tactic with nearly all document management.

Be Careful What You Forward

Next, be careful when you are emailing. It is easy to forward emails. In fact, forwards from emails are often more common than a phone call. The problem is that sometimes these emails can get you into trouble. Therefore, make sure to filter who you send things to. Keep things on a need to know basis if necessary. And always double check the send list before pressing send. Remember that information can easily be exaggerated and/or misunderstood. Bad information can cause harm. And you may not have intended this, so be careful.

It is not easy to keep sensitive data sealed up. However, in the political world it is necessary. Take the necessary precautions to prevent gossip and undo harm.

The one that I’m going to touch on today originated back in the 70’s and centered around the women’s feminist movement.

Mind Over Body

This isn’t going to be a bra burning kind of article so relax. It is going to talk however about a woman’s authority and power over her own body. In 1973 a book was published entitled “Our Bodies Our Selves”; and spoke at length about reproductive health and the sexual pleasure of women. Women have control over their own bodies and they can either stress their female aspects or, with the assistance of sports supplements and heavy bodybuilding, concentrate more on becoming more muscular and/or (for lack of a better term) more masculine looking. When the term ‘body politics’ arose again however, it was to bring attention to a far more serious and detrimental topic.

Breaking The Silence

Violence against girls and women such as sexual abuse, rape, spousal abuse or abuse by a boyfriend—people were ready to talk; at least some people. Attention was being drawn to a subject that was formerly viewed as acceptable social behavior as a show of a man’s position of power. Now, women were breaking the silence that they had felt imprisoned by in generations past. In a show of defiance some women turned to tattoos, body piercing, and gender blending practices such as surgery or the aforementioned bodybuilding.

Abortion is of course a very hot topic when it comes to women’s body politics; but I refuse to discuss that here and now. A woman’s right to do as she pleases with her body is the same as a man’s right to do as he pleases with his body. As long as each person is affecting their own body, and not someone else’s; body politics are actually relatively easy to ascertain.

And all this time I thought that politicians took more than they gave; silly me.

Politics And Social Enterprise

Well of course politicians have to participate in social enterprise. For the same reason they run around shaking hands and hugging babies; or the other way around; they must appeal to the public’s sense of goodness by giving if they want to achieve any kind of political accomplishment. And whereas these politicians may actually be extremely heartfelt in their benevolent actions; it remains, after all, the name of the game. Whoever can make themselves look best and the other guy look bad has a good chance at coming out ‘on top’; or ‘the winner’. Though frequently the old saying rings true: “you catch more flies with honey…” so philanthropy is probably the more preferable of the two different methods of getting ahead. Spew out too much mudslinging, and you end up looking like the bad guy; the method can backfire when you cross the line.

Social Enterprise Would Be Nonexistent Without The Philanthropy Of Others

Social enterprise in and of itself depends on the generosity, compassion, humanity and charitable contributions of others. Task forces for fighting hunger; groups that advocate for the proper treatment of animals; organizations that strive to conquer medical and mental afflictions; institutions that support and encourage assistance to former veterans of United States armed forces (handicapped or otherwise); all of these are social enterprises. They are businesses whose first and foremost concern is for the mutual good of all. We are constantly bombarded with requests to help support these institutions through the mail, on the radio, through television commercials and even through emails. The really gutsy charity seekers actually go door to door. Don’t even bother with 'no solicitation' signs—they don’t work—they are ignored—the get taken down when you’re not looking (sometimes).

The good news for the contributors is that these donations are more likely than not tax deductible. The good news for the social enterprises is that they can continue their philanthropic efforts.

One of the most important things you can do is free yourself from all distractions.

What Are Distractions That Can Cause An Auto Accident?

Text messaging is one of the worst things you can do while driving. Any text you have, can wait or pull off the side of the road to answer the text message. Another thing that is terrible to do is talk on the phone, even if you are using a hands-free device. When you are driving you need to pay attention to the road, and all of the cars around you.

Why Is It So Important To Obey These Laws?

If you don't obey these laws you run the risk of increasing your chance in getting into an automobile accident. Then you will need an auto accident lawyer to represent you, and you will need to go through a huge ordeal that could have been avoided.

Driving is something you need to take very seriously so that you do not injure yourself or any other people. Should you need to answer a text message or a phone call it is best that you either wait or pull off the side of the road.

You can’t have politics without corruption and you can’t have corruption without money. Why it’s very nearly a match made in… Never mind.

Speakers Weigh In On Congress, Money And Politics

Anyone who’s willing to talk about anything can do so on the Internet today. How many hits that person gets will determine how popular they actually are with the public. You Tube consists of many videos that have now gone viral; you can’t go anywhere to avoid them because they are everywhere. It’s no different when it comes to opinions on Congress, money, fees, corruption and so on. There are any numbers of speakers willing to put forth their views on anything and everything having to do with each of the above stated and more. You no longer have to go to a huge seminar and battle thousands of people to hear powerful people speak. You need but to open your laptop, turn on your iPad or jump on the Internet with the assistance of your smart phone; there they will be in all their glory; speaking their mind. It’s a free country after all (thus far).

The New Rules And Regulations Settle The Controversy

Each and every business that does any kind of online selling is familiar with online credit card processing. Merchants and unfortunately any one that uses credit cards are all too familiar with the fees that can go along with them. We encounter all sorts of fees: charge back; early termination; annual; customer service; batch; minimum; statement; authorization… The list goes on and on.

The one piece of good news here is that new regulations were set into motion in October of last year that put a strict cap on the fees that banks collect every time a credit card is used.

If I wanted to go out on a limb here I could branch off into what kinds of things might be printed up on home computers if Obama wins another four years—but that could spell trouble.

Small Victories Can Be A Big Deal

Politics is introduced to children at young age thanks to history class and possibly even geology. As early as high school our kids are introduced to the political system by voting for or running for class presidents, vice presidents, treasurers and more. They even elect homecoming queens and kings. Should your child run for office in a school setting it certainly won’t hurt to award them with a certificate of achievement. Where does one find such certificates? Silly parent… Online. And they are free!

The Debate Team And Speeches

Once again this is a case where your young one can be preparing themselves and honing their skills when it comes to giving speeches for elections or any number of other political speaking engagements. Giving a particularly moving speech or accomplishing something of significance on the debate team definitely calls for a certificate or award in recognition of an achievement.

It’s not easy to get up in front of a roomful of people and speak; particularly when they are either friends of yours or hoity-toity clicks that have formed in school. It can in fact act be downright paralyzing.

Uncle Sam has his hands on almost everything we do. I can’t even buy beer anymore without paying a sales tax.
Does Uncle Sam Really Need One More Thing To Legislate?
Call it a personal opinion but if the legislation wants to get in on something in the way of a money making venture, legalizing marijuana so that they can regulate not only its quality but insist that taxes are paid upon it would be a far greater cause than dabbling in something as unpredictable as the stock market—even when it comes to something as simple as a binary options strategy. If you feel that badly about it, don’t worry; come tax time--any money that you have made through the stock market will absolutely, positively be taxed by Uncle Sam.
Why Screw Up Something So Simple?
How many people have ever heard of the saying “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”? Well that’s basically what binary trading in the stock market is… Not broke… Get it? It’s probably the easiest method of stock trading that there is. You don’t have to be a genius to play in the stock market if you’re going with binary trading. You win or you lose. The stock either increases in value or decreases in value upon expiration. Aside from penny stocks, how much easier can this get? Better yet, why do you want to mess with it? Don’t the legislators have their hands full enough; don’t they have enough irons in the fire?
In what is supposedly a free country, far too many stipulations and rules are already imposed upon us. Legislation does not need one more excuse to trod on a simple person just trying to make a little fast and relatively easy money… Legally even! See what you’ve done now; you got me all riled up.

Is politics a serious subject? Yes it is; particularly in this day and age when politics and our poor excuse for an economy go hand in hand. Even though there’s nothing funny about our situation it’s hard to take many of today’s presidential candidates seriously. So can you make political statements by the wearing of funny t-shirts? Oh absolutely!! In fact, I encourage it.

HEY! DONKEY!

No it’s not Shrek calling for Eddie Murphy’s cartoon character, nor is it fluffy not fat comedian Gabriel Inglecias; it’s the war cry of a republican getting ready to throw some political slur a democrat’s way. If however you happen to be pro democrat there are a plethora of humorous tee shirts that you can wear to let everyone know that you are a supporter of the jack ass. Nothing personal. If you are a democrat that is simply your symbol; I didn’t pick it. Rest assured however there are many anti republican T-shirts to pick from as well as pro-Democratic.

An Elephant Never Forgets; Unless It’s Something Really Important

If on the other hand you are a devout republican there are humorous T-shirts for you as well. Funny T-shirts proudly proclaiming your political persuasion are available online. This is not to say that there aren’t anti democrat T-shirts; it all depends on how far you want to take it. Is it better to be pro something or flat out against it? Maybe you are undecided, particularly with the choices being offered in the upcoming election. Don’t worry; there’s a real good chance that there are T-shirts for that as well. Personally, I’d like a T-shirt that says “I’m voting for the person that will likely cause the least amount of damage”. Here’s the good news concerning that. There are also websites where you can order a T-shirt that says basically anything you want to say. Now I have no idea how far they’ll go with that; but there’s only one way to find out.

If you’re serious about your politics but you want to make your point with humor, because really if you don’t who’s going to listen, you might want to consider wearing a number of humorous politically themed T-shirts.
